Fasah System Integration With SASO SABER Online System

The Fasah System will be integrated with the SASO SABER Online System and due to its effect, all the shipments will be cleared at the entry points in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a valid Shipment Certificate of Conformity (SCOC), non-availability of which, will result in shipments to be re-exported to the country of origin.

SGS is a SASO-accredited Certification Body and has been assisting SASO and the Ministry of Commerce and Investment with product conformity assessment matters for more than 12 years. We offer various services to help clients through the process of complying with Saudi Technical Regulations and Saudi Standards. Depending on the nature of the product, SGS can assist with:

• Acting as a SASO-accredited Certification Body to issue Product Certificates and handle Shipment Certificates for all products covered by a Technical Regulation in all regions of the world
• Populating the SABER system with all the products the importer intends to bring to the local Saudi Market; it is mandatory that these be registered into SABER before a Product Certificate can be issued
• Issuing Technical Assessment reports for products not falling under any Technical Regulation, to back up any claims of compliance to relevant Saudi standards
